Hi my name is Te Hauata and I live in Ohaeawai and I go to Ohaeawai School. I live with my mum, dad, sister and brother. I also have other siblings and family members that come to visit us. At school my favourite subject is maths and writing but personally I like all subjects. I enjoy everything we do at school, for example we do writing, literacy, maths and many other learning areas that I enjoy doing.

Plant Animation
Three or four weeks ago my class started an animation about plants. My plant animation was about How Popcorn Is Made. So first you have to get the biggest plumpest seed out of a popcorn packet. Then you get a wet paper towel wrap the wet paper towel around the plumpest seed to make it soft. Then put the plumpest seed with the wet paper towel around it in a hole. Gently cover it up then water the plant every day then a week later gently take off the wet paper towel then transfer the plumpest seed to a pot. Then the next day you have sproutling . A few days later when the corn is grown fully you pick them then put the corn in the microwave to pop. I have learnt how to grow corn and how people make popcorn.

I id not run good but the main thing was at least I had fun and I tried my best. But way before cross country we practiced every day at school we had to run five laps around most of the school.
